Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale, Bishop Briggs, & More to Judge on New Band Competition TV Show
Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale, Bishop Briggs, Gavin Rossdale, and Tosin Abasi are set to be judges on the new band competition TV show No Cover.
The show, which is being created by Hit Parader, will see unsigned artists and bands that write and record their own original music competing for a recording contract, representation and management, festival slots, studio time, new gear, and licensing opportunities, among other things. Unlike other music competition shows, the focus will be on original music, not covers.
Co-hosted by Sleeping With Sirens frontman Kellin Quinn and radio personality Caity Babs, No Cover will be filmed at the Troubadour as well as the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood. The series will also include behind-the-scenes interviews conducted by music industry veteran Matt Pinfield.
An air date and platform have not been announced, but artist applications are currently open.
