Beyoncé Covers 'Moon River' for New Tiffany & Co. Video

Beyoncé channels her inner Audrey Hepburn in a new cover of the Breakfast at Tiffany's song "Moon River."

The Black Is King singer and her husband JAY-Z are starring in the ongoing Tiffany & Company "About Love" ad campaign. Queen Bey's delightful "Moon River" cover plays during a recently released video - a romantic, dreamy ad that features the couple in several opulent scenarios.

Beyoncé sings the cover while playing a grand piano. She also wears a staggering 128.54 carat yellow diamond that Audrey Hepburn wore in 1961. The diamond was last worn by Lady Gaga during the 2019 Oscars.

Tiffany & Company's "About Love" campaign began in August. As part of their partnership with the company, Beyoncé and JAY-Z established a scholarship fund benefiting students of five historically Black colleges and universities. As of right now, a total of $2 million has been pledged towards the scholarship program.

Before the "Moon River" video, the company released a photo of The Carters posing in front of a sky blue Basquiat painting titled Equals Pi. While friends of the late Basquiat have criticized the company for using the painting in a way the artist would not have intended, representatives for Tiffany & Co. have defended the campaign, saying: “The beauty of art is that it can be interpreted in a number of ways. All important works provoke thought and create a dialogue. Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Equals Pi is no different, and we are pleased to be able to share this work with the world.”

In other Beyoncé news, the singer confirmed to Harper's Bazaar she's been slowly working on new material for the past year.

"With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again," Beyoncé told the publication. "I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible."

Beyoncé's latest music includes the remix of Megan Thee Stallion's song "Savage" in April 2020 and her visual album Black Is King in July 2020. Both projects won big at the 2021 Grammy Awards, which cemented the former Destiny's Child singer as the most-decorated female artist in the show's history with 28 wins.
