Billie Eilish Brings Out Special Guests Dave Grohl, Phoebe Bridgers, Childish Gambino, & Khalid During Homecoming Shows

Billie Eilish finally got to perform in her home state of California at Inglewood's Kia Forum on Thursday (December 15) and Friday (December 16). During those two shows, she was able to bring out four very special guests: Dave Grohl, Phoebe Bridgers, Childish Gambino, and Khalid.

During the December 15 show, Eilish was first joined by Dave Grohl to perform Foo Fighters’ “My Hero.” Introducing the song, Grohl said, “You know, I have to say, earlier this year, all of the Foo Fighters and our families gathered together at my house to watch the Grammys, and, when Billie came out for her performance in the Taylor Hawkins T-shirt, the room was filled with real tears of love and gratitude. So, from our families who are here tonight, the Hawkins family, and everyone, we’d like to thank you very much for that. So let’s, let’s sing it for Taylor.”

Later on in the show, Phoebe Bridgers took the stage with Eilish to play her Stranger in the Alps standout “Motion Sickness.” The Punisher singer-songwriter remarked "Damn, this is so cool, dude" upon hearing the crowd's thunderous applause.

Eilish then brought out Donald Glover to perform his Childish Gambino hit “Redbone” as part of her Friday night set. The Atlanta multi-hyphenate stuck around to sing “Happy Birthday” to Eilish, who celebrated her 21st birthday on Sunday, December 18.

After that, it was Khalid's turn to share the stage with Billie. The Scenic Drive vocalist came out to perform the song “Lovely” with Eilish, as well as his 2016 single “Location.”

Billie Eilish’s second studio album, Happier Than Ever, was released in July 2021. Her latest film, Billie Eilish Live at the O2, was recently nominated for Best Music Film at the 2023 Grammy Awards. The film will screen in theaters for one night only on Friday, January 27. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, December 21 at 9am ET.
