Billie Eilish Teases New Song & Album 'Happier Than Ever'

Billie Eilish recently dropped a 15-second clip of a new song called “Happier Than Ever,” teasing a new era of music.

The short snippet comes just after Eilish posted to Instagram that "things are comingggg." The clip sees a newly-blonde Eilish looking back at the camera from a chair while the soft guitar strings and vocals from "Happier Than Ever" play in the background.

Eilish later revealed the single in the teaser is actually the title track of her upcoming second album, Happier Than Ever. It will be released July 30 via Darkroom/Interscope. Additionally, Eilish announced she will be releasing a new song on April 29.

In February, Eilish appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and she revealed she created a whole album during lockdown. “I don’t think I would have made the same album, or even the album at all, if it weren’t for COVID,” she said. “That doesn’t mean it’s about COVID at all, it’s just that, when things are different in your life, you’re different. That’s just how it is. So, I have to thank COVID for that, and that’s about it.”

Also in February, Eilish released her Apple TV+ documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry. "Happier Than Ever" was previously teased within the doc.
