Bon Iver Announce Upcoming EP and Share New Music Video for 'S P E Y S I D E'

Bon Iver have released the music video for their new song “S P E Y S I D E.” Alongside the video, they’ve announced that their new EP will drop on October 18.

Titled SABLE, (with the comma as part of the title), Justin Vernon wrote the three main songs of SABLE, from 2020 to 2023 at his April Base studio in Wisconsin. There's also a fourth song called "..." which appears first on the EP.

According to a press release, SABLE, is “named for near-blackness.” The project is also the group's first new release in 5 years. It follows the 2019 record i,i.

As for the "S P E Y S I D E" music video, it was directed by Erinn Springer and stars Justin Vernon. The black-and-white visual shows the frontman playing guitar in a small space, singing in a bed while window curtains pass over him, and swimming in ocean waves.
