Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama Release New 'Beg for You' Music Video
An enchanting team-up has just occurred: Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama have shared a new music video for the song "Beg for You."
The video was released on Friday, February 11. "Beg for You" is the third single off Charli's upcoming album Crash. The music video shows Charli, Rina, and a group of dancers performing a pagan ritual in a field of power lines. Magic and skillful choreography ensue.
Charli XCX has been releasing Crash singles at a slow-yet-steady pace. She shared the hit song “Good Ones” in September, followed by “New Shapes” - featuring Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens - in November. The trio had been slated to perform the song on Saturday Night Live in December, but it was canceled due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.
More recently, Charli XCX released Alone Together: the making-of documentary about her 2020 album How I’m Feeling Now. Starting in March, she’s set to tour in support of Crash. You can find tickets here.
As for some Rina Sawayama news, the rising star is getting ready to embark on the North American leg of her world tour. She will start in San Francisco on April 11 and wrap up in Brooklyn, NY in May. Tickets for all dates are sold out, but are available for re-sale here.
Crash will arrive on March 18. Click here to pre-order or pre-save.
