Cuco Announces New Album ‘Fantasy Gateway’ & Shares New Music Video

Indie artist Cuco is making his return. On Friday (April 29), the Los Angeles singer-songwriter announced his sophomore album: Fantasy Gateway.

Out July 22 via Interscope, the 12-track LP will include features from Kacey Musgraves, Adriel Favela, Bratty, and DannyLux. Additionally, Cuco has shared the lead single of the record, "Caution." It comes with a trippy animated music video created by Grin Machine.

“‘Caution’ is a song that talks about going through different mental health issues and not wanting to bombard the people around you with your problems,” Cuco said in a press statement. “So you just keep them to yourself, but sometimes putting all that weight on yourself results in a feeling of being out of control when everything explodes.”

The news of a new album arrives after Cuco released a string of singles last year as well as this year's boy pablo collab "La Novela." Cuco also has a headlining tour of North America planned, with shows running from mid-August to early September. You can find more tour info here.

Cuco’s debut LP Para Mi arrived in 2019, a year after his debut Chiquito EP was released. Recently, Cuco gave a performance at Coachella 2022.
