Dolly Parton to Make Special Appearance in New Hallmark Film 'Christmas at Dollywood'

Dolly Parton is set to make a special appearance in the new Hallmark film Christmas at Dollywood, which will spotlight the East Tennessee theme park named after the global icon.

Parton will appear alongside Danica McKellar, a veteran of several Hallmark Christmas films, who plays the role of Rachel Lewis, an award-winning Broadway producer and single mother who heads to Tennessee to produce a show for the 20th anniversary of the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival at Dollywood.

Christmas at Dollywood will begin filming in Tennessee in August and will premiere in December during Hallmark Channel’s 10th anniversary of their annual “Countdown to Christmas,” beginning Oct. 25 and running through New Year’s Day.
