Eminem & Snoop Dogg Share Video for New Song 'From the D 2 the LBC'

After appearing together during this year's Super Bowl Halftime Show, Eminem and Snoop Dogg have teamed up again for a new song and music video called "From the D to the LBC."

The title of the collaborative single pays homage to the two rapper’s respective cities: Detroit, Michigan and Long Beach, California. The song follows a yearlong rekindling of their decades-long friendship, after previous beef in 2020, spawning from Snoop’s top ten all-time rappers list not including Eminem.

The song was previewed hours before its release at Ape Fest 2022 – which could be the reason for the animated monkey imagery throughout the video. It was directed by James Larese and shown during the music festival while Eminem and Snoop were performing.

This is Eminem's second collaborative release in a month. On June 16, the rapper shared a song with CeeLo Green, “The King and I,” for Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis soundtrack. In other Eminem news, a 20th anniversary edition of The Eminem Show arrived earlier this year. Eminem will also be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame later this year.

As for Snoop Dogg, the Dr. Dre protege recently hosted American Song Contest alongside Kelly Clarkson, and he acquired Death Row Records in February.
