Father John Misty Expands 2025 Tour, Adds New Dates
Father John Misty is expanding his tour in support of his latest album, Mahashmashana.
The dates follow Father John Misty’s previously-announced winter run with Destroyer, which continues through the East Coast until March 1st. The newly announced shows take place in July and feature support from Lucinda Williams and Hamilton Leithauser.

The performances will happen in Vermont, Maine, New York, Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Oregon, and British Columbia. There are also several California gigs, including San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles.
Father John Misty released Mahashmashana on November 22, 2024: the same day Kendrick Lamar surprise-dropped GNX. (Ironically, both artists tend to drop albums the same years.) It is Josh Tillman's sixth studio album under the stage name Father John Misty, and was produced in Los Angeles by Tillman and Drew Erickson. Frequent collaborator Jonathan Wilson acted as executive producer.
The artist is currently underway with his tour, and at the time of this article's publication he will be performing across New York City. He will then head to Philadelphia and Washington D.C. before traveling overseas to venues in Europe.

Tickets will first be available via an artist pre-sale beginning today (February 25th) at 10:00 a.m. local time. Fans can sign up for pre-sale access to their desired show date(s) on Father John Misty’s site. A Live Nation pre-sale for select dates begins on Wednesday, February 26th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use code DUET). Tickets will then go on sale for the general public on Friday, February 28th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
