Foo Fighters Release New Song 'Under You'
Foo Fighters have shared another new song from their upcoming album But Here We Are. It’s called “Under You” and follows the single “Rescued.” It is the second song on an album made after the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.
Foo Fighters will also debut songs from But Here We Are and more in a streamed studio session on May 21. Titled Foo Fighters: Preparing Music for Concerts, the free stream will begin at 3 pm ET and repeat on-demand through May 24. You can register through Veeps.
The album’s initial announcement noted But Here We Are is a “brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters endured over the last year.” The lyrics of “Under You” allude to loss: “I woke up and walked a million miles today/I’ve been looking up and down for you/All this time it still feels just like yesterday/That I walked a million miles with you.”
The band will begin its first proper tour since Hawkins’ death next week. But Here We Are is set for release on June 2. You can pre-order here.
