Foo Fighters Reveal Live EP From 1995 as First Vault Release

Foo Fighters took to Twitter yesterday, July 5, to announce that they were releasing a live EP that features two rare songs from their 1995 Reading Festival set as well as a live version of the There is Nothing Left to Lose track “Next Year.”

Entitled 00950025, which potentially alludes to the year 1995 and 25 years since the band’s formation, this is the first series of songs that is expected to be released from the band's vault. The EP is comprised of “Wattershed,” “For All the Cows,” and “Next Year,” which was recorded at Cold Live at the Chapel in Melbourne, Australia in 2000.

In addition to announcing the EP, the band has opened a submission portal where fans can submit their favorite memories of Reading '95 or any Foo Fighters-related story, including messages, videos, and photos.

The band has hinted at more to come in terms of the Foo Fighters archive as they wrote, “You never know what we’ve got up our sleeves.”
