Halsey and Evanescence’s Amy Lee Team Up on New Track 'Hand That Feeds'
Halsey and Evanescence singer Amy Lee have joined forces on a new single called “Hand That Feeds.” It's a song produced for the upcoming John Wick spinoff movie Ballerina, which will hit theaters June 6.
“Hand That Feeds” arrives just as Halsey is set to kick off a North American tour on Saturday (May 10) in Concord, California. The two-month outing runs through a July 6 show in Highland, California. (You can find tickets here.)

The collab between the two performers is no surprise, as Halsey has openly praised Amy Lee in the past. She even dressed up as the Evanescence singer as part of the promotion of her 2024 album, The Great Impersonator. At the time, she called Lee her “OG dark rock queen.”
Consequence reports that leading up to the release of “Hand That Feeds,” Halsey admitted she was “freaking out about it.” Lee added, “So thrilled to bring you a new song, ‘Hand That Feeds’ with Halsey...We’ve been fans of each other’s work for a long time and it really feels like the universe pulled us together for this moment.”
The vulnerable track is about Halsey and Lee finding the strength to leave a toxic lover. Genius suggests "Hand That Feeds" could be a part of Halsey's upcoming sixth studio album. Back in February, she dropped the single "safeword," and a snippet of a track possibly titled "Love of My Life" has been shared.
Evanescence will be the special guest at Halsey’s Hollywood Bowl show on Wednesday (May 14th), and will also support My Chemical Romance at the latter’s stadium show in Tampa, Florida, on September 14th. From there, Amy Lee and company will play the Louder Than Life festival on September 21st, and hit the road with Metallica in Australia and New Zealand in November.
Ballerina stars Ana de Armas in the lead role, with a cast that includes Keanu Reeves, Norman Reedus, Anjelica Houston, and more. It is set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4. You can watch a trailer here.
