Icona Pop Announce First New Album in 10 Years

Icona Pop are back and "we love it!" The Swedish duo have announced their sophomore studio album, Club Romantech, after 10 years out of the limelight.

The Swedish duo’s very first LP was 2013’s This Is... Icona Pop. It featured their hit tune "I Love It," as well as the songs "All Night," "We Got the World," and "Girlfriend." Club Romantech will come out September 1 and has been preceded by the singles “Feels in My Body,” “Spa,” “Off of My Mind,” “You’re Free,” “I Want You,” “Faster,” and “Sh-- We Do for Love.”

In a statement about the 15-track album, Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt said, “As Icona Pop, we can release a pop tune or a super hard dance song, and that’s who we are. When we started to write this album, we didn’t have any rules. We just had a vision we wanted to share with our fans. We’re inviting them into our world.”

Most recently, the duo released a brand new single called "Where Do We Go From Here."  It's a loud, crunchy, and tech-y dance bop with plenty of beat drops to keep listeners moving. Icona Pop has released a visualizer to accompany the tune.
