Jack Harlow Brings Out Fergie for Performance of 'First Class' & 'Glamorous' at 2022 VMAs

Jack Harlow had the honor of opening up the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (August 28). In the middle of his performance of “First Class,” he brought out Fergie, who performed her hit song “Glamorous” – the track Harlow samples on his single.

The performance started off with Harlow rapping "First Class" on an airplane set. He passed celebrities like Avril Lavigne and Lil Nas X before approaching a "red carpet" area. After Harlow signed an autograph for a fan, a reporter character held a microphone to his mouth for an interview. But instead of answering questions, Harlow announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, Fergie!"

Fergie then appeared wearing a glittery ensemble that had the words "First Class" printed on it. She began singing "Glamorous" for the crowd, placing extra emphasis on the lyrics "first class up in the sky." Jack Harlow eventually joined her onstage.

At last year's VMAs, Harlow joined Lil Nas X to perform the Montero track “Industry Baby.” That single got nominated for multiple awards, including Video of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, and Best Art Direction. It was also nominated for Best Visual Effects and Best Choreography, while Harlow picked up another nomination for Artist of the Year. Harlow’s most recent album is May’s Come Home the Kids Miss You.
