Kelly Clarkson Releases 'Kellyoke' EP: Covers Radiohead, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, & More

Kelly Clarkson has a new EP out today via Atlantic Records. It's titled Kellyoke (named after the segment of The Kelly Clarkson Show where she performs covers for the crowd), and sees her covering the likes of Radiohead, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Whitney Houston, and more.

In a press release, Clarkson said about the EP: “Music is in the DNA of everything I do, so when The Kelly Clarkson Show started we knew it [Kellyoke] was the perfect way to kick off every episode. Over 500 songs later, and we’re still not running out of amazing artists to pay tribute to. Picking just six was near-impossible, but these songs have been some of my favorites. Thanks for singing along with me y’all!”

Before the full project's release, Clarkson released her cover of Billie Eilish's "Happier Than Ever" as a single. Notably, the EP includes a cover of Radiohead's "Fake Plastic Trees." It is one of the three Radiohead covers Clarkson is known for: the other two being “Exit Music (For a Film)” and “Karma Police,” which she has performed live on her daytime show.

Clocking in at twenty-two minutes and fourteen seconds, the new EP is a follow-up to Clarkson's 2021 holiday album When Christmas Comes Around. Before that, Clarkson released the 2017 studio album Meaning of Life.

You can digitally listen to the full EP on your preferred streaming platform here. A CD version of the EP is also available to purchase on Clarkson's official online store.
