Lil Uzi Vert Shares Release Date & Posts Teaser Video for New Album 'Eternal Atake 2'
Mark your calendars, hip-hop fans: Lil Uzi Vert will be releasing an album next week.
On November 1, the Philadelphia rapper is dropping their highly-anticipated LP Eternal Atake 2. It's the sequel to 2020’s Eternal Atake and follow-up to last year’s Pink Tape.

In the teaser video, Uzi gets abducted by aliens, who perform some sort of memory procedure on them. The visual starts high above planet Earth, where a flying saucer whizzes by. "On March 6th, 2020, Lil Uzi Vert mysteriously vanished," text reads. "While it was never confirmed what happened that day, the faithful believed it to be the fulfillment of a long-awaited prophecy...Eternal Atake."
The flying saucer then jumps through an intergalactic portal, where it delivers a sleeping Uzi onto a table. We see aliens with glowing purple eyes looking at the rapper through a screen. As they tinker with tech, we see subtitles like, "begin memory extraction," and "prepare deletion sequence." After one alien initiates a "memory reset" on Uzi, the MC finally awakens.
The cover art for Eternal Atake 2 has also been dropped. It shows a crowd of girls smiling and laughing at the camera: almost all of them with the same purple glowing eyes the aliens have in Uzi's teaser video.
Lil Uzi Vert released Pink Tape in June of last year. They followed the album, in December, with “Red Moon,” a single that samples Cafuné’s “Tek It.” Eternal Atake 2 will be Uzi's fourth studio effort.
