Live365 Releases New Embeddable Widgets

Live365 is pleased to announce that we've rolled out two new embeddable and shareable widgets!

This release now allows broadcasters to embed the Player widget directly on their own website and play their station on their website without opening a new window. Previously, the available embeddable widgets would launch the Live365 station profile page, but now the embeddable Player widget enables listening directly on the website it is embedded on.

The new widgets include:

  • Player: Allows users to toggle between "now playing" and "last played" views, with playback controls for listeners. Pop-out player can also be launched.
  • Last Played: Includes "last played" view, without playback control.

From there, the widgets can be customized by size and color (dark & light). The available sizes include: small, medium, large, extra-large, and custom.

The embedded player for broadcasters' websites and last played widget were two of the most highly requested features by our broadcasters in our Feature Request portal. With this portal, we take your suggestions to direct what our development team works on.

The new embeddable and shareable widgets are now available in the Dashboard under "Listen." To learn more about the new widgets, see our Knowledge Base. For all of the latest updates on the Live365 platform, subscribe to our Live365 Updates page!
