Lynyrd Skynyrd Announce One-Night-Only Screening of ‘Farewell Tour’ Concert Film
Lynyrd Skynyrd brought their Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour to their hometown of Jacksonville, Florida on Sept. 2, 2018. Now, that concert is going to be screened in theaters across the U.S. for one-night-only on Nov. 7.
Directed by Shaun Silva, the 107-minute concert film includes band interviews and footage from the band’s show at TIAA Bank Field.
“We can’t wait to share this amazing night and performance with the Skynyrd Nation, especially those that weren’t able to be there that evening,” Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist-founder Gary Rossington said in a statement. “The energy, passion and reaction to the music and band was something we will never forget.”
Presented by Fathom Events, this special one-night event will begin at 7pm local time on Nov. 7.
Fathom Events CEO Ray Nutt noted, "We're thrilled to bring one of America's most iconic bands to movie theaters across the country and give their many fans an opportunity to come together and enjoy one of their final performances."
Tickets for Lynyrd Skynyrd: Last Of The Street Survivors Farewell Tour will be available beginning Friday, Oct. 4 at fathomevents.com and participating box offices. A full list of screening locations will be available the same day.
