Meghan Trainor to Release New Single ‘Bad For Me’ This Friday

Meghan Trainor has a new song featuring Teddy Swims on the way.

The new track is called "Bad For Me." Trainor revealed the news on social media on Tuesday (June 21), sharing that the song will be released this Friday (June 24). Alongside the news, she unveiled the cover art, which features both her and Teddy Swims in green outfits, sitting among a floral landscape at sunset.

Trainor also teased the song on TikTok, giving fans a glimpse of some of the lyrics, which detail a toxic relationship. “Please don’t make promises that you can’t keep / Your best intentions end up hurting me / No matter what I love you endlessly.”

In related news, Trainor recently revealed to Popculture.com that she will be dropping a new record soon, which will be a return to the doo-wop style seen on her 2015 debut album Title. "Bad For Me" is anticipated to be the lead single.

Trainor's last album, Treat Myself, was released in January 2020. It was her third major label studio album and included tracks such as "No Excuses," "Wave," and "Nice to Meet Ya."
