Mickey Guyton to Release Debut Album This September

Rising country star Mickey Guyton is set to release her debut album very soon. Titled Remember Her Name, the record is the follow-up to Guyton's 2020 EP Bridges and will be released on September 24 via Capitol Nashville.

With 16 tracks, Remember Her Name will feature songs such as "What Are You Gonna Tell Her," a new version of Guyton's 2015 single "Better Than You Left Me," and her hit Grammy-nominated song "Black Like Me." There's also going to be a cover of Beyonce's "If I Were a Boy."

Most of the tracks were produced by Karen Kosowski. Additional production was handled by Jimmy Robbins, Johnny Simmen, Nathan Chapman, Forest Whitehead, Gavin Slate, Andy Skip, and David Kalmusky.

Mickey Guyton is the hottest new country artist to hit Nashville, and she's had a strong start to 2021. After making history as the first Black female country performer to sing at the Grammy Awards (she sang "Black Like Me" during this year's broadcast), Guyton co-hosted the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards with Keith Urban the very next month.

You can pre-order Remember Her Name here.
