OutKast to Reissue 'ATLiens' for 25th Anniversary
Hip hop duo OutKast (André 3000 and Big Boi) will be reissuing their critically-acclaimed sophomore album ATLiens to celebrate the record's 25th anniversary.
The reissue is set for August 27. In addition to 14 new instrumental tracks, the record will be available in different deluxe vinyl editions. More specifically, there's a Vinyl Me, Please "Neon Green and Blue Galaxy" pressing and a Get On Down pressing in a custom gatefold with printed inner bags along with a glow-in-the-dark 45 single. The vinyls were mixed in Hi-Res 24bit sound. Pre-orders are available here.

First released on August 27, 1996, ATLiens skyrocketed OutKast to a No. 2 Billboard debut after 1994’s Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. Before ATLiens' reissue, the duo reissued Stankonia for its 20th anniversary last year. Recently, OutKast was among the first musicians honored at Atlanta’s new Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame.
