Pearl Jam Announce 2022 Tour

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, Pearl Jam were one of the first major acts to postpone tour dates. Now, roughly two years later, the band have announced rescheduled and new tour dates in support of the band's eleventh studio album, Gigaton.

In May and September, the band will make North American stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York City, Nashville, Denver, and more. Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer will join as Pearl Jam's touring guitarist. Klinghoffer’s solo project, Pluralone, will also open for Pearl Jam in the United States and Canada.

As for European shows, those will take place in June and July. The band will have a break in August before traveling back for September's North American shows. In Europe, the band will have a few different rotating openers: White Reaper, Pixies, Idles, and Shame.

Tickets can be found here. European dates are now on sale to the general public. The Ticketmaster Verified Fan pre-sale for North American dates begins March 29 at 10am local time. Fans can register for the pre-sale now through Sunday, March 27.

Speaking of Pearl Jam and Ticketmaster, the band was featured during the main story of the latest Last Week Tonight with John Oliver episode. The story covered the rising prices of concert tickets, and Oliver mentioned Pearl Jam's 1994 efforts to sell tickets without the use of Ticketmaster.
