Princess Diana Musical to Move to Broadway in 2020

After premiering at California's La Jolla Playhouse in April, it has been announced that the musical Diana will make its Broadway debut in March 2020.

Diana, which is based on the life of the late Princess of Wales, will begin performances at New York's Longacre Theatre on March 2, 2020, with opening night set for March 31.

The Joe DiPietro-David Bryan production showcases Princess Diana's life during her marriage to Prince Charles and their eventual separation.

Jeanna de Waal (Kinky Boots) starred in the title role at La Jolla, with Roe Hartrampf as Charles, Erin Davie portraying Camilla Parker Bowles, and Tony winner Judy Kaye (The Phantom of the Opera) as Queen Elizabeth. All four will reprise their performances on Broadway.
