Rush & Fantoons Release Graphic Novel "The Making of ‘A Farewell to Kings’"

L.A. animation studio Fantoons has released, in coordination with Rush, a new graphic novel that chronicles the making of Rush’s 1977 album A Farewell to Kings.

Entitled The Making of ‘A Farewell to Kings,’ the 144-page novel gives an inside look at the writing and recording of the LP using interviews with Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson and producer Terry Brown. Fantoons’ David Calcano and Lindsay Lee co-wrote the book, while Juan Riera, Ittai Manero, and Lee created the artwork.

The Making of ‘A Farewell to Kings’ is part of Fantoons’ ongoing partnership with Rush, which has also resulted in a Rush coloring book as well as a puzzle. The book is available now on the band’s official RushBackstage, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble.
