See The Who Play ‘The Punk and the Godfather’ With Eddie Vedder

On Saturday night, the Who performed at London’s Wembley Stadium and brought out special guest and opener Eddie Vedder to play the Quadrophenia classic “The Punk and The Godfather.”

Roger Daltrey said, “He’s going to share this song with me because he knows where it came from.” Daltrey asked of Vedder, “What one were you? You were also the one with the stutter?” “No,” Vedder replied. “I’m still the punk.”

Vedder has performed several songs from Quadrophenia with the Who on many different occasions and has noted that it is one of his favorite albums of all time.

The Who also performed “Hero Ground Zero” at Saturday's show, which is a new track from their upcoming studio album.
