ShaqFu Radio Featured Artist of the Week: 2Pac

Another week means another ShaqFu Radio featured artist and this week it is...2Pac!

Tupac Shakur, also known by his stage name, 2Pac, was an American rapper and actor. He began his music career in 1991 when he released his debut album, 2Pacalypse Now. His debut placed him on the map as a central figure in West Coast hip-hop. 2Pac sadly passed in 1996 in a drive-by shooting. Despite 2Pac's sudden passing only 5 years after his debut, 2Pac had quickly achieved critical and commercial success and is now largely considered to be one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time. 2Pac is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold over 75 million records worldwide. He is also considered to be a symbol of resistance and activism against inequalities as his work addressed many contemporary issues that plague inner cities.

Although Shaq and 2Pac did not really interact publicly, Shaq has expressed his admiration for 2Pac on Twitter.

Also, Shaq has noted a moment when 2Pac wore Shaq's Orlando jersey to perform.

Despite the lack of public interaction, Shaq and 2Pac clearly had mutual love and respect for one another.

Check out 5 of 2Pac's biggest hits below.

"Dear Mama"

"Changes"

"Ghetto Gospel"

"I Get Around"
