Stan Lee Dead at 95

Superhero genius Stan Lee passed away yesterday (Nov. 12, 2018) at the age of 95.

An ambulance was called to Lee's home in Hollywood Hills early Monday morning and he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He later died at the hospital.

His cause of death is not yet known.

The Legend
Stan Lee started his career with Timely Comics in 1939. He played the roles of writer, editor, and illustrator over the years. In the early '60s, Lee was asked to create superheros to compete against DC Comics' Justice League.

Along with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, Lee created Marvel in with The Fantastic Four. He later went on to create some timeless favorites -- Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man, and The Avengers.
