The Strokes Announce Sixth Album 'The New Abnormal'

The Strokes have announced their new album, The New Abnormal, which is due out April 10 via Cult/RCA. This will be the band's first new album in seven years, following up 2013's Comedown Machine and the 2016 EP Future Present Past.

The album news comes a few hours after debuting their first single, "At the Door," and teasing the album onstage at the Bernie Sanders presidential rally at the University of New Hampshire on Feb. 10, 2020.

The new album consists of nine tracks and was produced by Rick Rubin and recorded at his Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, California.

"At the Door" is available on streaming services now. Accompanying the single release is an animated video written and directed by Mike Burakoff.
