The Weeknd Moves 'After Hours' Tour to Summer 2022
The Weeknd is pushing back his long-awaited After Hours tour from January 2022 until the summer...but it's not necessarily a bad thing.
“Due to constraints of arenas and the demand for more shows I want to do something bigger and special for you which requires stadiums,” The Weeknd wrote in a social media post. At the end of the caption, he added, "New dates forthcoming."
In the meantime, The Weeknd is refunding all tickets and current ticket holders will be given priority to buy tickets for the new stadium shows whenever they go on sale.

Now rebranded After Hours til dawn, (possibly a reference to the musician's new album, as Variety theorizes), The Weeknd's tour was originally set to happen in 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. New tour stops include locations in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East.
As for other The Weeknd news, the singer shared his single “Take My Breath” earlier this year and is currently working on the sequel to After Hours. Showtime premiered his Super Bowl performance documentary The Show last month, and it is now available to stream.
Finally, pre-production is still ongoing for The Weeknd's HBO show The Idol. Actress Lily-Rose Depp has joined the cast as the female lead/love interest.
