Top 10 Gang Starr Songs

Gang Starr's newest album One Of The Best Yet is due out Nov. 1, which will be their first new release in 16 years. Since Guru's death in April 2010, DJ Premier has always intended to release a posthumous Gang Starr project. "I never lost faith, or wavered,” Premier said of the possibility that Gang Starr would release a new album. “I still felt it inside of me, it just happened to be nine years [after Guru’s passing].”

Gang Starr has released 6 studio albums prior to the upcoming album and, throughout the years, they have gained the reputation of being one of the first pioneers of jazz rap.
