Top 10 Pop-Punk Christmas Songs

Christmastime is usually always pretty "holly jolly." We can't fault anyone for that -- 'tis the season for giving (although, that really should be a year-round thing, right?), good food, and being around loved ones.

Hear us out -- We LOVE this time of year, but there's only so much super happy, in-your-face Christmas cheer anyone can take on any given day. To keep with the Christmas spirit while keeping it a bit more lowkey, we compiled some of our favorite pop-punk Christmas tunes!

"Santa Clause is Thumbing to Town" by Relient K (Deck the Halls, Bruise Your Hand, 2003)

While Relient K does a killer rendition of "12 Days of Christmas," that gets a bit old. These guys have always been pretty punny with their lyrics, and "Santa Clause is Thumbing to Town" always makes us laugh -- the sleigh is in the shop, so Kris Kringle decided to hitch hike.

"Home Alone Theme" by August Burns Red (Punk Goes Christmas, 2013)

"Home Alone" is a Christmas classic! August Burns Red knocked this version of the movie's theme song out of the park.

"Christmas by the Phone" by Good Charlotte (single release, 2002)

Good Charlotte is always a go-to when it comes to pop-punk!

"Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" by Issues (Punk Goes Christmas, 2013)

Issues covered this song originally released by 'NSYNC. A great cover for a great song.

"Won't Be Home For Christmas" by blink-182 (single release, 1997)

Classic, and pretty funny. Many of us have probably experienced times at family gatherings in which we wished we could've just said "just leave the presents and then leave me alone."

"Nothing For Christmas" by New Found Glory (Punk Goes Christmas, 2013)

"Christmas is coming, so don't buy nothing. I got what I wanted, I got what I needed." That sums up our feelings on the holidays perfectly. We have everything we need and could ever dream of.

"The Season's Upon Us" by Dropkick Murphys (single release, 2012)

Dropkick Murphys really hit the nail on the head with this Christmas song!

"Christmas Lights" by Yellowcard (Punk Goes Christmas, 2013)

We just really like Yellowcard, okay? RIP.

"Fool's Holiday" by All Time Low (Punk Goes Christmas, 2013)

This one has all the feels of a classic Christmas song with a pop-punk twist.

"Oi To The World" by No Doubt (A Very Special Christmas 3, 1997)

GWEN IS THE QUEEN OF '90s PUNK. This song is so fun and has such a classic No Doubt sound.

Merry Christmas to all, and all a pop-punk night!
