Victoria Monét Shares New 'Alright' Music Video
Victoria Monét has worked with director Dave Meyers and choreographer Sean Bankhead on her first new video since winning Grammy Awards for Jaguar II.
The music video is for her track "Alright," which makes an appearance on Jaguar II. It was produced by Kaytranada and was released back in 2023. The bold R&B anthem is about Monét embracing her sensuality, promiscuity, and independence.

Choreographer Sean Bankhead also choreographed Monét's hit “On My Mama” video. The "Alright" visual sees Monét dancing an extravagant routine with backup dancers on a stage with flashing lights. The video is also full of costume changes, lasers, and projections of eyeballs.
In a press statement, Monét shared: “'Alright' is about liberation and freedom at its core! This video is a visual presentation of that sentiment through freedom of movement and fluidity between masculine and feminine energy. It was an honor to work alongside Dave Meyers and Sean Bankhead and this cast on this visual! What a crazy combo!! Plus, EVERY single person who had their hands on this visual was extremely passionate from inception, and we all worked really hard to bring it to life! They showed up with their A game surpassing what we all imagined. Serious teamwork! We all patiently and meticulously crafted it and are extremely excited to release it into the world! There’s no better month to release this visual than Pride Month, Black Music Month, and the beginning of summer ’24! I can’t wait to see where dance artists and the ballroom culture take it."
In other Victoria Monét news, the artist won the 2024 Grammy Awards for Best New Artist, Best R&B Album, and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. She also performed "On My Mama" live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in October 2023.
