Vince Staples Announces Album 'Dark Times' & Shares Video for New Single

Vince Staples has announced the details of his sixth studio album. Titled Dark Times, the record will arrive this Friday, May 24.

The follow-up to 2022’s Ramona Park Broke My Heart, the new album is his final album for Def Jam Recordings. Dark Times features 12 tracks that were recorded over the course of seven months in North Hollywood.

To promote the new record, the Long Beach rapper has unveiled the new song and music video “Shame on the Devil.” The video features split screen showing Staples on one side and a mix of shadowy people on the other.

In other recent Vince Staples news, the artist debuted his satirical Netflix comedy series The Vince Staples Show in February. As for music since 2022, Staples has released a few collabs with Earl Sweatshirt and the Alchemist.
