Yungblud Releases Cover of David Bowie's 'Life on Mars?'

In January, Yungblud performed an emotional cover of David Bowie's classic song "Life On Mars?" Now, the British singer has released a full track and performance video of the cover.

Yungblud debuted the cover as part of the Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day livestream, celebrating what would’ve been David Bowie's 74th birthday and the 5th anniversary of his death. The 23-year-old musician attended the event alongside stars such as Duran Duran, Adam Lambert, Boy George, and Gary Barlow.

Yungblud is an up-and-coming artist within the UK. His album Weird! hit number one on the UK charts, and the singer is known for his androgynous style, eccentric nature, and signature pink socks.

In the "Life on Mars?" video, Yungblud is seen with Bowie-inspired slicked back hair and silver eye makeup as he performs with Bowie's longtime pianist Mike Garson. Commenting on the David Bowie performance, Yungblud said, "I felt like I met him somehow last night and it was the best night of my life."
