beabadoobee has announced her third studio album: This Is How Tomorrow Moves. Ahead of its release, the album's opening song, "Take A Bite," and its accompanying music video has been released.
Due out August 16, This Is How Tomorrow Moves was produced by Rick Rubin at his Shangri-La recording studio in Malibu. In a statement, beabadoobee said, “I love this album. I feel like it’s helped me so much more than anything else has in navigating this new era, this new understanding of where I’m at. I guess it’s about becoming a woman.”
As for the new music video, it shows Beatrice Kristi Laus walking through a neighborhood street in a feathery ensemble. Matching the song's chorus lyrics, she then struts down the sidewalk "all over again," with the tone of the scenery growing a bit darker.
The new album follows her 2022 LP, Beautopia. You can pre-order LP and CD versions of This Is How Tomorrow Moves on Rough Trade.
