Rumors have circulated over the last week that Bruno Mars will portray Prince in an upcoming biopic for Netflix.
A representative for Mars reports the claim is "100 percent false" and that there is no Netflix film lined up.
Word began circulating afer a British tabloid, The Daily Mirror, published an article over the weekend claiming Bruno Mars was "being lined up to play Prince" in a movie for Netflix.
It would make sense, however, that the "Just the Way You Are" musician would portray Prince in a biopic -- he pulled off an amazing rendition of Prince's "Let's Go Crazy" at the 2017 Grammy's.
