BTS to Make Late Night Comeback on Back-To-Back Episodes of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'

K-pop royalty RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook of BTS will soon reunite on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The upcoming booking will mark the group's first U.S. late night appearance since all members have completed their mandatory military service.

According to a press release sent to Live365 by NBC, BTS will sit down for an in-studio interview with Fallon and perform two songs. The interview and first song will air Wednesday, March 25, while the second song will air a day later.

The late night appearance is all part of BTS' planned March comeback. Their visit will follow the release of their fifth studio album, ARIRANG, which drops tomorrow (March 20). The group also has a global live performance (titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG) streaming March 21 on Netflix. Their feature documentary, BTS: THE RETURN will also premiere on the streamer March 27.

BTS last performed together on The Tonight Show during their BTS takeover in July 2021, which amassed nearly 120 million digital views and featured performances of "Butter" and "Permission to Dance." While Jimin, SUGA, Jung Kook, Jin and j-hope have each appeared on the show individually since then, March 25 will mark the entire group's return to the show together.

Besides BTS, the March 25 show will feature Oscar-winning actress Ariana DeBose. On March 26, Chris Pratt and Charlie Day will also swing by. The Tonight Show airs at 11:35 pm ET/PT on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
