Calvin Harris to Release New Song 'Potion' with Dua Lipa & Young Thug

Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa are teaming up once again for a new song. Titled “Potion,” Harris teased the song via TikTok on Tuesday (May 24), and it includes Lipa's vocals...as well as a feature from Young Thug.

In the TikTok video, Harris reveals how he made the sultry song – from keys, to bass, to guitar, and finally FaceTiming Dua. She "definitely" agrees to provide him with vocals for the track. “Late night conversations, electric emotions / Sprinkled with a little bit of sex / and that’s a potion,” she sings in the song's chorus.

"Potion" is set to be released on Friday (May 27), likely as part of Harris' upcoming album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2, the follow-up to 2017’s Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1. Recently, Harris confirmed that a follow-up was on the way this summer.

Dua and Calvin's last team-up was on the smash hit “One Kiss,” which was featured on Lipa’s Complete Edition of her debut studio album. It peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and climbed to No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In other Harris news, the DJ shared a new track earlier this year called "Lonely," under his Love Regenerator alias – which he launched back in 2020. The track features Riva Starr and Sandara Maitreya.

As for Lipa, the songstress is still on her massive Future Nostalgia Tour. She’s also been teasing her third album, which is reportedly “half-written.”
