On Monday (December 12), indie artist Caroline Polachek revealed her list of tour dates for 2023. The news comes just after Polachek announced her new album Desire, I Want to Turn Into You will be arriving in February.
Dubbed the Spiraling Tour, the North American and European trek will feature a number of opening acts that will appear on certain dates. Openers include Doss, Alex G, Ethel Cain, Sudan Archives, Magdalena Bay, George Clanton, and Toro y Moi.
The tour will begin February 10 in Brighton, England before jumping over to North America in April. The “Hit Me Where It Hurts” singer will perform in major cities across the United States including Boston, Austin, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, and more.
The ticket pre-sale will take place via Polachek’s website beginning on Wednesday (December 14) at 10am local time. General onsale goes live on Friday (December 16).
Along with news of an album and tour, Polachek has just released a single and music video titled "Welcome to My Island." The visual was directed by Polachek and Matt Copson, and sees the vocalist running through a construction site, singing underwater, and gargling up blood.
Polacheck’s upcoming album Desire, I Want to Turn Into You, arrives on February 14, 2023, and follows her 2019 album, Pang. That LP featured singles “Door,” “Ocean of Tears,” “Parachute” and the hit song “So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings.”
