Legendary English rock band Def Leppard have finally earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Their ceremony took place Thursday (October 9), and was attended by the entire band - as well as several Def Leppard fans.
Jon Bon Jovi came as a speaker to honor the "Pour Some Sugar On Me" musicians. In his speech, Bon Jovi told the crowd about his friendship with Def Leppard: “We hit it off immediately. Hanging out with Joe [Elliott] and the guys was like hanging with my own band, but with a different accent.”

When he accepted the Walk of Fame honor on behalf of the band, frontman Elliott said: “From all of us up here, including [founding guitarist] Pete Willis and the late, great [guitarist] Steve Clark, we all say to each and every one of you, to our collective families, especially our parents who helped us get where we are now, just simply, to our incredibly loving fanbase, two words: thank you!”
The band members then posed by their star and held up framed plaques for pictures, where they were joined by Bon Jovi and other associates.
In other Def Leppard news, the multiplatinum UK rock act will be hosting a 2026 Las Vegas residency, comprised of 12 shows throughout the month of February. They will then be touring across Europe during the summertime, and finish off with a show in Dubai. Tickets for all concerts are available here.
