Governors Ball will be happening this year. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the event will take place from September 24-26 at the Citi Field complex in Queens, New York.
The lineup was just announced today (May 4). Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Post Malone, A$AP Rocky, J Balvin, Phoebe Bridgers, Big Thief, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Burna Boy, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jamie xx, DaBaby, 100 gecs, Freddie Gibbs and the Alchemist, Orville Peck, Bartees Strange, Amaarae, MIKE, Future Islands, Leon Bridges, Duck Sauce, Dominic Fike, and more are set to perform.
“Building a recovery for all of us means reconnecting with the iconic events that make New York City the greatest travel destination in the world,” New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a statement. “As more New Yorkers become vaccinated by the day, we’re proud to support arts and culture and welcome back Governors Ball and their fantastic lineup, including New York City’s own Princess Nokia, A$AP Rocky, and King Princess, among others.”
“Rest assured that safety is our first priority and we are working closely with all city and state authorities on everything,” the festival’s FAQ page reads. In case the September festival does not take place this year, refunds will be available. Additionally, anyone who purchased 2020 tickets can transfer them to this year's festival.
A pre-sale for Citi® cardholders runs from today through Thursday, May 6 at 11:59am ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public Thursday, May 6 at 12pm ET via the festival’s website.
