After the success of July's "Joyride," Kesha is back in the spotlight with another pop drop. The new song is called "Delusional" and was co-produced with Zhone.
"Delusional" is an emotional power ballad that runs for three minutes and fifteen seconds. Lyrically, the song sees Kesha confronting an ex who seems unable to face up to reality. Realizing the toxicity of the relationship, the singer packs up her suitcase and leaves. "Thanks for the heartbreak, it gets my bills paid," she sings in the first pre-chorus.

Kesha released the song on November 29. She had previously teased a snippet of "Delusional" on social media September 20, 2024. On November 20, Kesha released the official music video for her single, "Joyride". As the video ends, a pre-save link for "Delusional" popped up on screen.
“Joyride” and “Delusional” are Kesha’s first two singles on her own Kesha Records. She released her final album with Kemosabe Records, Gag Order, in May 2023. Both of the singles are set to be a part of Kesha's upcoming sixth studio album. While details about the record are limited, it is expected to be dropped sometime in 2025.
In other Kesha news, the pop star recently appeared on the remix of Charli XCX's "Spring Breakers." As for her well-known legal feud with Dr. Luke: the two settled their long-running legal battle in 2023, which began after the singer – in October 2014 – accused the producer of sexually assaulting her in 2005.
