Lin-Manuel Miranda took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce that there is a new In the Heights book being published by Random House.
In the Heights: Finding Home will give a behind-the-scenes look at the 2008 Tony Award-winning musical. It will also chronicle the musical's 20 year lifespan: from Miranda's early doodles to the upcoming movie that will be released this summer.
The book reunites Miranda with Jeremy McCarter, co-author of Hamilton: The Revolution. Quiara Alegría Hudes, the Pulitzer Prize–winning librettist of the Broadway musical and screenwriter of the film, also contributed to the new book.

Like Hamilton: The Revolution, the book features untold stories, perceptive essays, and song lyrics - complete with Miranda's humorous, heartfelt annotations. It also includes newly commissioned portraits and never-before-seen photos from backstage, the film set, and productions from around the world.
In the Heights: Finding Home will be published on June 22, 2021. An audiobook version will be released by Penguin Random House Audio. You can pre-order the book here.
