Sabrina Carpenter Announces Sixth Studio Album 'Short n’ Sweet'
If "Espresso" was any indication, now we have confirmation: Sabrina Carpenter is set to drop her sixth LP this summer.
Short n' Sweet arrives August 23. Carpenter, released the album’s lead single (“Espresso”) back in April. A new single from the LP is expected later this week.
Carpenter likely chose the cheeky title to reference her height, as she is 4’11”. Before she announced the project, fans spotted billboards featuring tweets about Carpenter’s height. On her website, the preorder description for the CD also brings up her petiteness: “Short n’ Sweet showcases the scintillating spirit of Sabrina Carpenter, the pocket-sized pop star with a larger-than-life artistic presence.”

So far, a tracklist for the album has not been released. On June 2, Carpenter posted a short clip on social media of her walking up to some glass and leaving a kiss mark on it – all while staring at the camera. It's believed the visual could actually be a teaser for her next single.
In March, Carpenter spoke to Cosmopolitan and briefly mentioned that she’d started working on her next album era: “I’m trying to really take this experience in [performing the songs on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour] before moving on to the next thing…but I’ve been working on the next thing for a minute. I’m starting to feel like I’ve outgrown the songs I’m singing, which is always an exciting feeling because I think that means the next chapter is right around the corner.”
Carpenter’s last album was 2022’s Emails I Can’t Send. Last month, she appeared as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, where she performed “Espresso,” “Feather,” and “Nonsense.”
