Vince Staples Shares New Music Video 'Are You With That?'

Vince Staples has shared a new music video for his track "Are You With That?" The song is the opener from his newly released self-titled album, Vince Staples.

In the slow-motion video directed by Jack Begert, Staples runs through a street at night in his hometown of North Long Beach, California. Staples pretends to be various neighbors and characters - including a mailman, a jogger, and a guy walking a dalmation.

Staples' self-titled album is the follow-up to his 2018 record FM! Kenny Beats served as producer on the LP. Two singles were dropped before the album's release: "Are You With That?" and "Law of Averages," which also has an official music video.

“I’m a mind more than I am an entertainer to a lot of people,” Staples said in a press statement about the album, adding, “I appreciate that my fanbase is willing to go on this ride with me. I’m ready to diversify what we’re doing and see how we affect the world.”

In other Vince Staples news, the artist recently announced he has penned a new graphic novel called Limbo Beach, due out this December. The book will be published by Z2 Comics, the group also responsible for the new Elvis Presley graphic novel that will be released next month, as well as the first-ever Freddie Mercury graphic novel due this fall.
