Grammy Award-winning rapper 2 Chainz has announced his upcoming album, Dope Don’t Sell Itself, will be released on February 4. Ahead of its release, 2 Chainz has also shared a single from the project called “Pop Music,” which features Moneybagg Yo and Beatking.
The album will be 2 Chainz’s first project since 2020's So Help Me God!, which featured contributions from rap gods Lil Wayne, Kanye West, and more. Earlier this month, 2 Chainz released the album’s first single, “Million Dollars Worth of Game,” which features 42 Dugg.
In 2 Chainz's album announcement earlier in January, he shared that fans can expect "something new & exotic" from his seventh studio album.

Most recently, 2 Chainz released a 10th anniversary edition of his 2011 breakthrough mixtape T.R.U. REALigion in November 2021. The project includes two new songs: “Wreck,” which features Big Sean, and “Sofa” with Wiz Khalifa. The project also features collabs with Meek Mill, T.I., Kreayshawn, Young Jeezy, Jadakiss, and more.
In other 2 Chainz news, the rapper - who is currently starring in the “Whose Back You Got” NFL Playoffs spot – is set to join fellow hip-hop royalty Rick Ross, Lil Kim, Jeezy, and Gucci Mane on the Legendz of The Streets tour. The 9-date tour will kick off on February 3 in Columbus, GA and conclude in Detroit, MI on Febuary 21.
