Adele to Make Hosting Debut on This Week's 'SNL'

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Adele is making her hosting debut on this week's episode of Saturday Night Live.

Adele has served as musical guest on the show twice, first on Oct. 18, 2008 and again on Nov. 21, 2015.

Regarding her hosting debut on SNL, Adele wrote on social media, “I’ve always wanted to do it as a standalone moment, so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right. But if there was ever a time for any of us to jump head first into the deep end with our eyes closed and hope for the best it’s 2020 right?”

Adele will host the Oct. 24 episode of SNL with first-time musical guest H.E.R. also set for the episode. Saturday Night Live is currently three weeks into a stretch of five consecutive weeks of new episodes.

Bloooooody hellllll I’m so excited about this!! And also absolutely terrified! My first ever hosting gig and for SNL of all things!!!!
