Billy Joel is doing his Madison Square Garden residency shows once again. For his final concert before Christmas, the Piano Man welcomed his youngest kids Della and Remy — plus family friend Elvis Costello — on stage as special guests.

Dressed like little North Pole elves, eight-year-old Della and six-year-old Remy sang “Jingle Bells” for the MSG audience as their father accompanied them on the piano. Joel did some backing vocals as well, and at one point motioned to the girls to turn around and face the audience of nearly 20,000 people. Reportedly, the legendary artist also tore through other holiday covers – “Deck the Halls,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and “Silent Night.”
As for Elvis Costello, the singer-songwriter appeared in the latter half of the set. He performed his own “Pump It Up” with Joel as well as a duet version of Joel’s “Allentown.” Afterwards, Joel shared a sweet Instagram post thanking “some special guests at show #97.”
Joel’s tour dates continue through July 2024, including shows with Stevie Nicks and Sting. However, he only has a few dates left before his lengthy Madison Square Garden residency ends forever. (It will conclude with his 150th lifetime performance.) Find tickets to all of Joel's shows here.
