Black Sabbath to Release Vinyl Box Set Containing Rarities

Black Sabbath are releasing a nine-LP vinyl set entitled The Vinyl Collection 1970–1978 on Sept. 6. The set will only be available as a numbered collector’s edition and 3,000 copies will be sold.

The Vinyl Collection 1970-78 includes the band’s first eight albums as well as a collection of singles in mono format on a ninth disc. Previously unreleased mixes “Into the Void” (Edited Version) and “Evil Woman (Don’t Play Your Games With Me)" will appear on the ninth disc. Replica tour books from the ‘70s will also be included in the set.

All nine discs will be pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl alongside a 7-inch single featuring "Evil Woman (Don't Play Your Games With Me)" and the b-side "Wicked World."
